I haven’t thought about this blog in months. I started school and everything went crazy along with my eating habits. I wasn’t watching what I ate anymore and I just was running around, never really having any time to get grips on the situation. I finished my first semester of school and through a flurry of me just continually skipping meals for lack of time and just always being on the run, the scale now reads 236.6. I’m glad I just didn’t gain any weight. But, one day out of the blue, my boyfriend decided enough was enough and he wanted to lose weight. He walks an hour each day, bumping up the speed gradually and only allows himself to eat 1000 calories a day. I was skeptical at first, but after two weeks of being consistent, he has lost 22lbs.
He’s doing it for himself, which is what matters and I’m so incredibly proud of him. And, as we head into this new year, I start thinking of what he have planned for this summer already and how I would feel so much more comfortable with myself if I was down to my goal weight, or at least close it, when we go on vacation. So, for me, I’ve decided I’m going to do the same routine as him.
Last week, I set the goal to start on the first of the new year. I allowed myself to go crazy, because I’m going to be missing food for awhile. On Thursday, I got myself things to eat on this low-calorie diet and containers to portion everything out. I started off today, I’m about to go on my walk and I’m at 305 calories at the moment.
I’m probably going to queue up some thinspo or healthy food pictures, but I will post a blog/weigh in every Sunday to keep things consistent. I also took the password off so I can share with everyone. I’m determined this time, I’m not going to give up.
